Wayne Kent has a 40 year career spanning law, investment banking, corporate finance and private equity including extensive experience in the Australian and international markets. He joined Flagstaff Partners in 2022 as a Senior Adviser.
Wayne spent 23 years at Macquarie Group where he co-founded Macquarie’s Equity Capital Markets business and was Head of Macquarie Group in Melbourne. The equity capital markets business expanded to operate in many of the world’s major financial centres and was consistently ranked in the top 2 for ECM business in Australia for over a decade. Wayne led and advised on many large and complex corporate and equity capital market deals in Australia and overseas.
Wayne commenced his career as a lawyer at Corrs. After leaving Macquarie he was Managing Director and Vice Chairman at Credit Suisse Australia working with the Investment Banking and Private Banking Divisions.
